📜 Behind the Scenes
S.D. Lettie is a Texas-based author, a mother of two, and a wife of her high-school sweetheart. She began her writing journey in middle school, inspired by her love of fan fiction on Quizilla and encouraged by a teacher who pushed her to write short stories in her composition notebook. However, she didn't begin writing seriously until 2023, when she realized her lifelong dream of becoming a NYT bestselling author.
After a decade in corporate marketing, she made the leap to full-time writing in 2025, publishing her debut novel, The Arrangement, in November of that same year.
On May 22, she will conclude her Bancroft University Chronicles duet, set in the DMV area, with the release of book 2, The Unraveling. She also plans to publish a standalone novel set in the same world in November 2026.
Outside of writing, she spends most of her time at the soccer fields, cheering on her kids from the sidelines, finding inspiration for future stories, working through her ever-growing TBR list, and tackling DIY projects around the house.
